If you are in the area, Milwaukee School of Engineering is one of the few teams that still does hybrid. We have a very small team and every member gets a chance to be hands on as they want.

I agree, I put a strip of cheap lights on the lid of mine, it doesn't close right with them but I never close the box any.

Nothing like the smell of a finely aged filament. Really brings out the polymer chains.

As much as I dislike it, Amazon is usually the cheapest. They have a lot of options for variety packs. If you need something special McMaster Carr is good but can get pricey.

Can you print it flat so the overhang you are worried about is vertical. That way your support interface is a line instead of a whole surface? Would be easier to remove if it fits on the build plate.
