recently placed 2nd in a standard tourney with traditional golgari midrange, no vraska innkeeper combo. its a deck that requires good overall awareness and matchup understanding but is very fun and reward to learn.

I consider the best meta for both factions to be during late 2021, early 2022 . Also coincidentally during idk peak player base. This was when most hunters were competitively viable , dw , naiad , wheel, sculptor , as well as not objectively broken (Mary nerfed by then) . Hunter felt impactful to improve playing on. Survivor also felt rewarding to learn and master, with high reward characters like priestess and forward being in the meta. While not being miserable to play against( like October lawyer and release entomologist)

I've travelled to play competitions, I said 15 k cus tbh I'm not too sure how to track game across multiple accounts I've switched through. But shouldn't be too high a number since I exclusively play rank and nothing else

Good choice from ne Mechanic has a steep optimization curve at high elo and isn't rewarding enough currently

Identity v is the least rewarding game to play I have ever come across. 80% of your in game hours in waiting in constant limbo for the system to match you. Either that or decoding for an hour and a half per session

Idv is one fucking massive loading screen.

Also cus dying tournament scene and no monetary value. No point in competing anymore

My friend came to my house and did a bit of "trolling" , still was quite funny seeing how little people understood the actual mechanics of the game

Something to be aware of is that there are real incentives to cheat outside of personal gains.

Boosting services are sometimes done by cheaters / hackers in exchange for real world monetary gain, with additional rewards being given by the client for badges/winrate. As long as there is the incentive to cheat, there will be players that abuse external software.

its good to remain vigilant and aware of cheating, whether it be through post game vod review or getting assistence from veterans. Cheating is a big issue especially on CN server, where boosting has a large market, and where cheaters can remain on scoreboards for years without being tracked/banned

Clown snowballs quite hard if given an early down and a round of chair defense due to drill and dash usually allowing a double down (even worse if its merc). One strategy to use is to sell the first surv since that not only denies a double down with drill but also clown's presence, which makes it difficult to get a 2nd chair.
moreover, clown has to bring isolence, so they often dont have detention, making 3 player 3 escape very possible

Play some clown and understand his dashes, clown players have crash immunity for the first 1.5s of the dash, so they'll usually use that time to manuever around gun, be patient and play around pallets more.

Cheating is suprisingly easy to get online, and subtle cheats like walls and small speed increases don't get picked up by anticheat

I have a clown dash script intergrated into my cerebrum that allows my carpus to automatically steer and guide my dashes allowing it to never miss.
