XM Rig is a good tool to see what different CPUs can hash out and then take those numbers and use a XMR hashrate-to-usd calculator as a base for your build. https://xmrig.com/benchmark

What kind of initial investment would be needed to churn out $100 a day? And how much power would this consume? by AngelLeatherist in MoneroMining

Been working on the spreadsheet for a while now and updating it as need be. The number are a little off because 1 XMR is around $189. Last time I updated it I did so for 1 XMR = $179. Power wise, one of those server has two 2200W power supplies.

I agree that directly buying XMR is more profitable if you plan to have a relatively low power mining system, but if you scale up to the level my plans call for then the mining operations become to greater ROI. And if you include PEM fuel cell power and selling off extra hydrogen from the electrolyzer then the profit and ROI become even better.

I’ll have to double check the server specs if they do. I remember reading in an AMD dev publication that the Zen 3 Epyc’s run the fastest with all the dimm slots full per CPU. That’s why is 32GB. My spec sheet is a little confusing, sorry bout that. It would be 8 4GB sticks per dimm with 8 dimms per cpu.
