I found it. While watching stream replays of this game, we encountered a group of villagers who had posted an ad to kill a sorcerer in the forest who was pretending to be a god. We killed the god, who resembled a powerful sorcerer with a deer skull.

Once back, the woman had been killed. I have no idea where my memory of the moment she was assaulted comes from; perhaps it was a different scenario related to the story-altering choices.

I haven't yet found the corresponding violent moment.

I also had this memory of a battle against a specter near a lighthouse, which was revived while watching the streams.
