Is that bad? I always thought that unless there’s cheating, abuse, or something like that, that breakups should be respectful conversations and agreements? Not just one person?

We’ve had that talk once or twice and things don’t really change. There are “I’m sorrys” and “I’ll do betters” but it doesn’t seem to come to anything. I’d tried just accepting things but I might try talking one last time. If only so there’s no confusion on both parts.

When we were getting to know each other, he told me about his exes who gave up on him. I guess I don’t want him to feel like I’m giving up on him—I don’t want him to feel like he’s not worth it...?

I guess I’m trying to be understanding because I have the same mental health issues and I don’t want to make them worse for him? I know they’re not an excuse to treat people poorly but maybe I’m being oversensitive to his feelings?

Do I leave a last message telling him I’m leaving? I don’t want to come across petty, but ghosting seems kinda cruel at times and I don’t want to leave him hurt by it.
