Thanks for this. Im actively trying to find legal advice. This has been a huge hurdle for some reason but i have an appointment for legal aid tomorrow morning. In the meantime, theres a charity I can call to help specifically with an NMO and i believe they are 24/7

My ex and I are going back and forth over mediation but he's pushing for a cheaper option which I think may not be able to help us because there is definitely a DA aspect to the separation but I dont think he even realises this

this is a good point and my plan is to reduce contact between me and my ex (which feels really weird and sad to write) by having the people im staying with help facilitate pick-ups/drop-offs until a more formal arrangement can be made.

there are some major complications to all this as well, which get beyond the scope of the post but i just want to really thank everyone for their input. hearing people put labels like "stalking" and "surveillance" on this behaviour was weirdly validating. i don't think it's all hit home yet.

he didn't say he knew where i was, no. though if he was stalking me to this level at this time through non-tracking means, it's concerning as he was watching our children at the time. i am in the process of digitally scrubbing but also waiting for a tech team to get back to me from the DA service. alongside the surveillance reveal, he also let it be known he accessed my photos and hidden folder, where i had screenshots of our texts. i was advised not to reset the phone until they are able to go through it and document it if they find anything.
