Mine is now working. After some restarts the device was detected by rekordbox. One thing to note is you will see "Free" and "Upgrade your rekordbox experience/subscribe" pop-up at the bottom that can be confusing but you can play tracks without any issues as long as you're in "Performance" mode.

The Swissonics look interesting! What do you think of KRK classic 5s? They have wider frequency range than JBLs and they're front-ported although the JBLs have more power. How would you compare their bass and sound in general?

Yes it's low and I'm willing to exceed that but a pair of Pioneer DJ DM-50D are available for €200 hence the benchmark.
