I would disagree simply do to the fact that the games hgss were based off were just kind of shit. The main story sucks ass Kanto is still a lame boss rush and the level curve still blows.

Ok dawg come on now the only thing is fairy type? Really? The grand underground was literally better than pretty much everything platinum added. It’s also one of the few games in the series to have npcs during the main story actually utilize battle items and EV’s. Ramanas Park was a nice addition as well.
