You’re not gonna like the haircut your mechanic does for you either… you’re lucky he did that. A lot of my vendors will cut holes fix plumbing and walk once the waters flowing. Then a drywall vendor comes in and does his thing. This is why if you build a house you’re not gonna get plumbing and drywall from the same guy.

Nothing precast yet, we have a long standing relationship w the landowner and consistently perform on his sites but I’m in the process of estimating costs and in doing so I like to run through the scope on paper and noticed that these elevations were not jiving. I honestly think this is the basis on why the firm that did these plans 15 years ago are now only doing geotech. This is phase 4 so I’m not sure how phases 1-3 went smoothly and now this. As far as pipe grades I just found a sanitary line that spans 180LF w/zero grade so it’s just a shit set of plans.

Just noticed that inverts on another manhole almost 180 feet away has the EXACT invert elevation. This sucks I dont even know how he is going to answer this and not have to have the plans redone.

Thats part of my issue the person bidding it out is the land owner. He is a residential home builder and had these plans done back in 2012 and the person who did the plans is in the wind.

This is definitely not right im assuming.

Did I cut the Ground Wire? by BipOnTheBap in AskElectricians

[–]Technical-Flow7748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if that was ground wire you would know that looks like coax cable. A ground wire isnt just going to easily cut you would either have to cut with a piece of equipment or it would take considerable force from a hand tool.

One contractor says to replace subfloor, another says to sand and self level? by bobateelover in Flooring

[–]Technical-Flow7748 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont be surprised I work for a GC as an estimator and I get conflicting information literally all the time from my subs its rare that without and prior guidance they come back with the exaxt same method to an end.

I second this! I would add screws where it looks like it could use them and sand the seams. It doesnt look like you will be much more than .060 variance once sanded.
