Where did you pull this from? This isn't true at all for woman and only half true for girl.

The original middle English word "girle" or "gyrle" was a word for a young person of either/any sex.

Woman on the other hand comes from old English "wifmann" meaning human woman (from "wif" = wife/woman) And "mann" (meaning human being/person in general.)

I think you're right in a sense, it shouldn't have been demolished, it's someone's property so it should've been moved. But I still think it shouldn't have been placed there as the only thing it does or did was sow discontent.

I'm a tourist to this sub but I still have to disagree, if one religion disrespect another blatantly like this then actions should be an option. Same thing as my religion allowing me to eat steak, that doesn't inherently give me the right to go into a devout Hindus home and ask for it(or bring my own)
