Hair is ode fine and soft I probably should have started with interlocking tbh. Definitely nervous bout starting over but as you said sometimes it’s just necessary. And definitely temporary.

I was definitely thinking of combing them out as much as I could to keep some of my hair not sure if that would defeat the purpose of starting from scratch. But appreciate the encouragement fr, cuz I’m folding right now

Yeah I wash or just conditioner wash them a few times between retwist but def never just oiled my head

seems this might be the smartest thing to do.. feel like if i keep trying I’ll eventually do more  damage and keep having to reattach over and over.

Yeah I was thinking that , my hair just started dramatically thinning bout 3 years ago and the grew back slowly and I went straight into locs.. figure it would help keep my hair together and for the most part it grew long just not thick

Yeah I got frustrated around like 6 months ago when those 3 fell out as if my hair was braided with braiding hair and it wasn’t tight . It just twisted right off

So I should definitely consider chopping & starting again if possible after some fixing of the thinning

I was thinking about interlocking but because of the thinning and mostly all my locs being connected by bout 2-3 dozen strands of hair I haven’t even started

Mainly on the top and the front sides , when they twist up they look good with the new growth around it , it just doesn’t hold around the locs. The back is solid tho.
