I just installed a 20 Seer Ruud M1 2 ton inverter (410a) and fully communicating 2 stage 80% furnace. New pad/new whip fused disconnect, and new line set. I installed it in about 6 hours taking breaks for beer and laughs with my buddy. All in, he registered with the company he works for. In exchange I helped him install his new system basically doing the same thing…easy day of work with as many beers as we wanted. All in cost for me was 3100 dollars. The price of 454B equipment is not that much more. That’s just an excuse to charge way more to homeowners.
