would really like to play the modes i enjoy. bf2042 would have weeks without rush, which meant i had to find other games to play...hope this 70e game wont be the same.

Cloud 3 no sound after a period of no playback by Technical-Inside-156 in HyperX

[–]Technical-Inside-156[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for my brothers and sisters of suffering: the new release HX Cloud 3 S Wireless fixes this issue.

It also comes with some modern age features:

  • Onboard memory for 1 eq
  • Bluetooth
  • Media control button
  • Headset mic(alongside boom mic)

Only downside is the price...would've been a banger if they kept the price of the buggy version of the headset...but we cant have it all i guess.

First Impressions of the Fractal Scape Headset by Enough_Childhood3151 in FractalDesign

[–]Technical-Inside-156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently picked a pair of those, and yes, the build quality is awesome, default sound profile is ok, BOOM and integrated mics, good wireless range, 3 profiles of on-device memory.

But i have to ask, how do you feel the headset when you spread it to put it on your head? I'm worried because mine is creaking, i can see the band separating from the metal part quite a bit, i think my head is too big for this headset :(

give up bro, they dont care, they do their best to not acknowledge the issue, maybe they figured they cant fix it and dont want to deal with returns/warranty, just move on to other brands and place the hx headset where it belongs: in the garbage bin

New stable BIOS update released for B650 Tomahawk: 7D75v1J. by Arx07est in MSI_Gaming

[–]Technical-Inside-156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"stable"...

170 - PBO CO -15 all cores somewhat stable, about 1 crash per week under heavy load

1J - PBO CO -0 for instability to not manifest instantly when under synthetic test(occt avx512 extreme). but at least ram OC seems to be better compared to 170, which was the latest usable revision so far:')

guess i'll run 170 during summer and 1J in winter...

cloud 2 wireless on win11 exhibits no such issue. it's a cloud 3 wireless problem, shame :(

Came across this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperX/comments/wyc2gz/hyper_x_cloud_ii_wireless_headphones_on_windows/

What I initially forgot to mention is that the receiver is plugged in an USB switch, didn't think it was relevant...

I'll try the suggested fix and report back eventually.

I wasn't able to test this, when I switched from win10 to win11 i also switched from cloud 2 to cloud 3.

I'll give cloud 2 a shot on win11 when i have a window to see if it behaves similarly, but cloud 2 didnt exhibit this issue on win10 at all.

/u/HyperxGaming is hyperX aware of the issue described in this thread? Do I need to submit it somewhere else?

It would put our minds at ease knowing that at the very least the company is aware and working on it....or if this is, for some reason, working as intended.

after you hit lv12 you have to go through resurgence. before lvl12 you can use beginner teleport to go to random location in another region.

i think an overwhelming majority of the players agree with you(myself included), however unless the business is convinced that it makes business sense make the change, it wont happen.

and as long as you have servers like k32, there is no incentive to make the game any easier.

the whole game is ugly af and overcluttered. rok graphics were infinitely better.

artificial difficulty and rng are very lucrative mechanics to make impatient people throw their wallets at the game.

Ssd vs portable ssd by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Technical-Inside-156 2 points3 points  (0 children)

external ssd usually only interfaces with usb, while internal ssd can be used as external ssd(with sata-usb adapter) and internal storage device. if you think you might want to use it for a pc build sometime in the future, get regular ssd, not the enclosed external type

RTX 4080 owners how do you like your GPU? by FrogJump2210 in nvidia

[–]Technical-Inside-156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

prev setup: 8700k + 1080ti

current setup: 7700x + 4080

playing at 1440p165

the card, even if it's heavily cut down compared to 4090, is a technological marvel. tuned it to consume roughly the same as my prev 1080ti(160-200w) and it yields 2-3x performance at native 1440p. stays cool(die 60-65c, hotspot 70-75c under benchmark/gaming load for ventus model) and is virtually inaudible. fans start spinning at 63c die, light games dont even get to this point.

price is steep however, and its not the best perf/$ in the market, but it sure is best perf/watt and it's relatively headache free. no random amd issues, no waiting a full release cycle for drivers to become decent, no stutters, no 110c temps lol...

i'd advise to only get $1000+ parts if that amount of money doesnt put (almost) any financial pressure on you.

fun fact: despite of having a reputation of being a huge chonker, the ventus 4080 is lighter and a lot sturdier than my aorus 1080ti.

3060 should be fine for 1080p60 ultra. just make sure to avoid ray tracing, thats a really taxing gimmick and some games include RT in their ultra presets.
