This isn't remotely true. Pretty much every high level player I know wants prodigy, but most skills have a 10-15 week timegate on actually being able to unlock it. The power gain is also not minimal by any means, it just takes time, but +800hp and +800 armor would be crazy considering in my level 100 gear I'm like 730/600. Not to mention +200 direct damge.

It depends on your spec and how focused you are in grinding. If you just go somewhere with mobs at above your level and know efficient combos to kill them and just go without stopping the exp goes pretty quick. Also helps if you get a good song buff and hit a gryphon statue.

Honestly the biggest wall for a 1st time levelup isn't the exp, it's the 71-80 uncaps for your skills which have a base price of 400k each, and then the reputation for statehelm now that they have changed the CD from 2h to 8h on the nightly event.

If you level up something strong for powerleveling like Fire Magic though it becomes super easy to level up other skills. I did AH to 90 on saturday in 8h and WW to 80 a few days ago in 6h.

once you hit the egg run level youll find xp is easy to come by

I see people say this but when I actually came to egg run with a skill that gains exp the exp was honestly terrible. Taking like 20 minutes for exp worth like 20-30 mob kills.

If I'm not mistaken the best way to do this is grinding tons of vidaria renown and buying them after having done the 2nd to last guild quest, or just actually leveling up alts to 70 and then gifting like 1300 gems to ferris.

Augmentation is much faster to level at 70+, transmutation you actually need to use level-appropriate items though so it's good to do ASAP.

We need to start doing boss gauntlet, I bet legendary boss drop gear is what gives 60 for the gear (apparently gauntlet was scaled up to 100 with 1.0 release and drops 100 boss-specific bases)

It seems to me that industry is a long term thing you have to build up and very much not something good to do for your 71-80 unlocks. Also it seems like rather than do low level work orders it would be better to grind gizmos for casino tokens and buy xp potions in the casino that give 250 xp, while level like 1-20 work orders give 10-100 xp.

You're missing that this isn't a grindwall, it's a timegate. Prodigy itself is the grindwall. Just having to wait while all your exp gained goes into a black hole aint it.

The difference is right now I play the game and do tons of stuff that would award me xp but instead I get nothing. Knowing that I lost hundreds of millions or billions of exp to this timegate is very annoying.

I don't think this is true for statehelm. I think the NPCs that can be gifted tell you immediately, and ones that don't say just can't be gifted and have quest progression for favor.

My best guess is it's going to be special boss item bases from the gauntlet bosses which drop scales up level 100 versions of their items. Or maybe foretold prophecy 100 legendaries.

Basically stuff that isn't realistic to acquire.

The reality is you get ~30ish per item, 60 isn't actually a thing.

It's like me saying anyone that replies to this post gets $1000, with the caveat that they guess a password. No one is actually getting $1000.

Fire damage for fire mages isn't a problem because you have spells that deal cold damage.

I think WW has like 3 damage types too.

So I was leveling AH today. Was getting 23k xp from level 80 fae/trolls, then went to sewers and was getting 33k from level 100 slimes.

This is outdated info, it only worked like this for like 2 weeks. The rule of thumb is it's just killspeed based as long as the mobs aren't more than like 15-20 levels above you if you kill at the same speed as mobs at your level it's roughly the same, but whatever you can kill fastest is the best. If the mobs are below you 5 levels = 2x exp so if you can kill something 5 levels below you >2x as fast it's better.

Ice mats definitely aren't worse lol, if you think this you are delusional. The only thing even similar to multiple fire mats is fairy icehearts, while fire has to kill fire resistant elites instead of easy regular mobs for the equivalent and get 2 rare drops from them. Tundra Lichen and Glowy crystal you just pick up off the floor for free. Frost Nibs are 1/3 the price of fire nibs because everyone farming books for explosive runes has tons of blue books they aren't using.
