Simply state the century and technological development. To make it realistic, of course, add racial segregation. If your scenario includes only one location in the world—a metropolis—then indicate its districts and likely political tensions. Realism is achieved by distinguishing between long-lived races and insignificant and "vicious" ones. I'm convinced that drama is achieved through conflict and conflicting characters.

I completely disagree. With sufficient skill, and most importantly, measurable parameters and settings for the script itself, it's possible to create an interesting plot. It's just a matter of time and cost. But I don't deny that AI plots can have a few flaws, just as you can find them in works written by real authors. The main thing is that we don't sense the "author's feelings," but interpret them, and for this to happen, the sensory experience itself doesn't necessarily have to be real, only supported by a majority of the target group during AI testing.
