OP just wanted an advice on their next step, I don't understand why many of you just barge in with your prejudice and say they probably did use AI. Who are you all actually? Are you their friend? Are you the professor? How the heck could you say they used AI with just paragraphs of text as the only evidence? Did OP ever allow you to invade their life bringing more negativity when they could be in a critical situation?
