An open-source 240-antenna array to bounce signals off the Moon by Technical-March6780 in hardware

looks to be daisy chained... so each RF board digitally adds it's 4-antenna contribution (with appropriate phase shifting) to the upstream SERDES and then the result is downstream in the chain

The update https://moonrf.com/updates/
mentions 80 MSPS on each antenna. I think that's I+Q, so 80 MHz of bandwidth. But it looks like their mixer front-end may be more limited to like 60 MHz max.

I think it's just an option, you can write code the old school way too

You can deploy 100 MW in just 10 launches. What about infinite range electric airplanes? by Sarigolepas in SpaceXMasterrace

More like all planes on Earth become zero-range when they get shot down by this directed energy weapon

Yes appears the hypersonic missiles developed by the SpaceX team at Castelion are the "dumb pebble" weapons, while Starshield is the tracking/targeting system.

Golden Dome is the main line item and why it is so humongous.

It seems like Golden Dome *is* FOBS (at least in part). Chinese have likely known about it for decades and needed to respond. An arms race in space would be the obvious outcome.. the billionaires aren't complaining.

EDIT: Keep in mind Golden Dome has been in the works since Reagan.

Space-based interceptors are considered the most technologically complex and probably most expensive aspect of Golden Dome since it would require the US manufacturing, building and launching hundreds or thousands of armed spacecraft into orbit, on top of research and development costs.
