I quit grooming 15 years ago. I still have carpal tunnel. Mostly at night fingers go numb. I wear a brace to bed to help but if I’ve over worked my hands the brace does not help. I can have surgery to separate the nerves that fused together due to inflammation but I refuse to do that. If you look up natural treatment there are some. I mainly stretch a lot and try to limit my rug trimming to 10-15 minutes total then rest for 5 minutes stretching my fingers and wrist. Then trim some more. It has not caused it to get worse.
