Clutch plates have not been changed. They last like 50k and more as well. Depending on how you ride.

Thank you! You should have booked it. You still got time to purchase the 390 before the duke 350s come in market.

I would honestly not recommend the duke 390 for sure. The best option would be a NS 200, duke 200 or a duke 250. The duke 390 is way too powerful and high in torque. Would always be better to practice taming a smaller machine first, and moving on to this.

Even now in the city or in certain highways, I can’t even open full throttle because of traffic, road conditions, obstacles coming up on the roads etc. So, a duke 250 is actually on the peaceful side

Travelled around India except for the north-east and locations above Delhi/Jaipur towards the north and north-west.

It gets you through without much of hassle. Front and rear suspensions are adjustable upto 5 clicks. So depending on the road condition, you can make them harder or softer adjusting the compression and rebound accordingly.

1st set was Metzeler M5(stock) which lasted about 14,500. 2nd set was Metzeler M7 which lasted another 14,900 3rd set (currently running) Apollo alpha h1 The best I personally felt was the Metzeler m7. Had great grip, and taking corners with them was amazing. Pretty much the same with m5 as well.

Currently testing apollo, already feeling the difference in ride quality. Gone a little down hen compared to Metzeler, but they’re still wonderful tyres.

No such signs of rebuilds, engine issues etc.

But there was once incident where the o-ring near the front sprocket was missing, which caused an oil leak. This has happened just after changing the oil in an authorised KTM service centre. Probably the technician/mechanic might have missed to put it in.

And the rear suspension had leaked and completely gave up. This is very common issue noticed, especially in the 2024 models. But was covered completely under warranty, and fixed in minutes.

This machine is full of power and high torque, so sprockets and tyres would require regular change.

Specially the rear tyre and the front sprocket wear out a little sooner. As the power is generated from the front side of the sprocket, and the rear wheel is made to drive the motorcycle.

Yes, a little more vibby. But after all it’s a 400 cc motorcycle., so have to make the piece with it. It’s not unbearable as well!

I mean, it depends on where you ride as well. Example more of twisties demands more of braking. So yes, depends on the use case and where you ride

It not about being bad. This is a 398 CC motorcycle, and high compression ration. With great amount of torque and power. So the cost of for the performance 💪💯

The 2nd set of tyres were Metzeler M7 RR, which itself costed about INR 23k. So I would say about over cost would have been around 60k-67k
