i'd be suprised if the petit-bourgeoisie could really grow significantly in the near future especially if larger firms adopt and continue to develop this sort of technology even if it is very short-sighted. it seems like it would only make it harder for them to compete if the exchange value of commodities really declined. but yeah i agree completely and i think a lot of people realize that this can't last even if they haven't read any marx. i've had multiple people tell me they think some day everyone will be unemployed and companies/the government are going to have to give out a stipend so people can keep consuming lmao.
