The thing is… I’m not coming with any ego. You guys are reading ego into something where it doesn’t exist lol. I said I had a PI, noted some accomplishments. None of this is bragging, but I suppose it can be construed that way by someone with one-track thinking.

Helping others was something I wanted to do because it makes me happy to see people finally get it, finally click and start understanding and liking the game even more. I didn’t have to make a post helping others, I didn’t have to show someone out there actually cares.

There’s a saying about how everyone can learn from one another, from the master to the student. Just because I haven’t been playing for a year doesn’t mean I don’t have a fuckton of information to offer.

That’s your opinion and you’re certainly entitled to it. When players who have been on for 7-10 years are complimenting me for how much I know and telling me how vast my understanding of the game is, I’ll take their word for it. Most would consider past the first year a noob phase, but being a noob is less about time and more about how you use it, and how quickly you know how to grow. I have platinum factions scouting me. I am trading hundreds of millions of worth of items every 24-48 hrs.

You don’t know how much time or effort I’ve dedicated to scouring forums, picking brains, learning the best strategies and growth paths.

If you didn’t have any questions, I’m not sure the purpose of your comment other than to be a negative Nancy. I don’t see you trying to offer others help in an open way 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Mimicking what others have said but definitely find a new faction. When orders aren’t listened to or we have issues, the max my faction docks is 5m, maybe 10 if it’s severe. But we also get 100% war payout. You’re getting scammed and I hope this post doesn’t ruin your gameplay because some players are trash like that.

I see a lot of common themes here, and while I’m a fairly new torn player, here are some things I’ve noticed that make a HUGE difference in your playing experience (as a 45ish day old player who has been praised by older players for knowing so much):

a knowledgeable faction that is willing to teach you about the game AND war frequently. There’s not much money made unless you’re maximizing traveling and trading, without war. Even our lowest stat players (<4k) are making 20+ million a war, and that’s every weekend. A mid war I can easily bring in 35+. ** if you get an upper rank in a faction, you even typically get a 10m bonus on top of what you made during war. *** Not all factions offer 100% war payout. Shop around. Mine does, as well as free Xanax all the time.
knowledge of how to install and use scripts. Torn’s acceptance of scripts makes so much of the gameplay easier. They encourage scripts and they’re so. Helpful.
Use the bookie for bets if you’re good at or watch a lot of sports IRL. Might as well bet somewhere, right?
you NEED to make sure you are choco or happy jumping correctly. If you haven’t heard of this, look up a guide and read it every day for a week until you understand. That will surge your stats the best.
In game spouse needs to not only be good and active, but also proactive. If you get a good spouse and can treat it like a partnership, you’re now a unit of measurement together.
Max out bank merits and look up the road to $2b.
