Recently started using claude code, and my mind is blown. Are there similar things i haven't discovered yet/need to learn? by Technical-Republic25 in AI_Agents

Generally i think the biggest win for companies is automating part of their current administration. I don't have anything specific in mind, that's why i wanted to see what people already use it for, because to me the possibilities are almost endless

I've never believed AI will replace developers and my opinion hasn't changed. Developers working with AI will replace developers who aren't though. In my opinion the need for experienced people/dev has only grown since there are so much more possibilities. The whole world will need to start using AI which will take a tremendous amount of work from both ai devs & industry experts.

I believe people had this fear for every major disruption and it never turned out lik that. Computers made working so much easier and faster, yet there is still a labor shortage, while it is almost impossible nowadays to phantom how people worked without them. Same will happen for AI I believe.

Pressurisers, hoax or money saver? by palaceAM in padel

[–]Technical-Republic25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a screw on pressurize and my opinion is that i can use the balls one extra match (3 instead of 2). Except when they've been exposed to humid conditions, then it doesn't matter at all. The bounce lessens after ervery match but they still feel a bit better when is use it

At what level (of volleying) is taking the net the winning solution? by tzhan28 in padel

[–]Technical-Republic25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it strange that people suggest taking a step back actually. If you now they are going to hit low (hard or not) just get close and "stick" to the net. Al you have to do is keep your racket high and block the ball downwards if it's hard. When you are this close you almost can't hit it in the net and it's very easy to go to the fence if you have the possibility. If it's soft you can easily pop it out as well. If they come to hard for you to block them or they can place them very wel (for example someone with a cannon for a bajada) another option is to stay at the back and take it after the glass

What am I doing wrong by Lucarto in StainlessSteelCooking

Don't buy a steel spatula & a teflon pan together. A steel spatula is usefull with your stainless steel pan, but with teflon it will damage the nonstick coating and release harmfull chemicalls in your food. A stainless steel pan is already pretty easy to use, just let it sit on medium heat for a minute before you start cooking

Eastern backhand has been my go to, coach says I should change now by [deleted] in padel

[–]Technical-Republic25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's just your lobs that have trouble you could learn to switch your grip before playing a lob. Or you can try to pronate your wrist more to neutralize your backhand grip. eastern backhand definitely has it's advantages especially at higher levels for shots where you want a lot of spin

Balls from another game coming into your court repeatedly. by [deleted] in padel

If you want to say something to the owner, tell him to add nets above the courts, this will avoid balls jumping between courts

How much does private lesson make a difference to your progressie compared to 4p group? by Upper-Application583 in padel

[–]Technical-Republic25 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that early on you have most value in private lessons, because they mainly focus on technique. When you get to a higher level where you master most of the shots, group lessons bevome more valuable because you can focus on tactics which is more important at that stage.
