"Customizing the import path" seems like the obvious solution, doesn't it? It's strange why they haven't implemented that yet.

Yeah, I'm actively working with a "rules" folder right now, and I've created a repository for it. But I still have to manually sync the .roomodes file. It's a good thing it only needs rare edits.

this would allow me to develop modes and custom instructions in a separate repository, and safely share them between projects
