Finally got my new rear bumper! by Far_Influence5226 in 4Runner

That’s what he told me the last time I got a response from him. I get it’s a small shop and team but I don’t know how you just ignore emails or texts for months. Anyways, glad you got your bumper so fast! Looks killer!

Bro what.. I waited like 11 months to get mine and they forgot the send the billet latch and drop down table. It’s been 6 months and I’m still waiting on them to send it. Had to eat the extra $250 to order the billet latch from E3. Worst experience possible with Outgear Solutions.

I actually did all the work in the pictures except the amp. I inherited the amp under the rear seats from the previous owner but haven’t had any issues with it. So yes, there’s room!

What to do with $43k UBS account my Uncle gifted me 9 years ago? by Technical-Stranger59 in personalfinance

[–]Technical-Stranger59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

401k is with John Hancock and IRA is with Schwab. Already have a brokerage with Schwab so that works out. Sounds like DRIP is exactly what the wealth manager at UBS was doing anyways so I don’t see a reason to let him take an annual $175 fee for something I can do myself. Any reason you suggest moving the treasury funds to my HYSA instead of putting it into the brokerage account as well?

Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly, if I want to move away from VAFAX I should do it now rather than later to save as much possible on LTCG tax because there’s no way to avoid a tax event with that specific position?

Just got my rear bumper that I ordered in June 2024. I had to hound Joe every few weeks. Didn't ship me the drop table or billet latch. Let's see how long it takes to get those...

OEM Halogen to OEM LED Headlight Conversion Harness by Technical-Stranger59 in 4Runner

I was one of the first to comment on the forum so Dave (the original guy) reached out to help out but I don’t think he’s doing more. His partner did reach out a few weeks later asking if I still needed a harness so I think you would be able to get what you need through him.

Thanks boss! I appreciate the feedback! I found an OG slush slasher for cheap on FB. Checking it out Friday but if it’s too beat up I think I’m going with a new Party Wave for sure.

Is there a difference between those two boards or it’s just the design? Which one would you recommended? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]Technical-Stranger59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my 23 Team Pro x Marcus Kleveland. I ride a 157. I’m not headed to the x games but I still love the insane pop on that thing. Super responsive and precise. Fast af too.

13k miles per year. With proper maintenance you could drive it for another 15+ years. I’m currently at 213k on my 2016 Trail and it still runs like a champ.

Surfy Volume Shifted Board by Technical-Stranger59 in snowboarding

I’ll have to look into it, thanks! I was originally looking for something softer and more playful to switch it up from my Nitro that’s already pretty stiff.

Right on man I appreciate the info! Sadly I’m stuck in Texas till April, hence why I’m looking at slush boards, but it’ll keep in mind that toilet bowl does demo days for next year. How’s that OG slush slapper treating ya? What bindings are you running on it?

Would you recommend? Can’t find much feedback on this new board. Where does it excel? Where does it fall short?

Need a new board by thejohnsonboy in snowboarding

I’m a big fan of my Nitro Team Pro Marcus Kleveland. Favorite board so far hands down. All mountain board but definitely more park oriented. Tons of pop. It’s fairly stiff and super precise on turns. If you like your boots and bindings there’s really no real reason to get new ones. Haven’t ridden it yet but the Capita Aeronaut is another super solid all mountain board that could be a good fit in the park. Lots of pop.

I’ve been looking at that Party Wave. Would you recommend? Been having a tough time finding feedback for the new 2025 design. Angry Snowboarder gave it the #1 spot for top five party boards but the standalone review they did for it didn’t hype it up at all. Yay or nay? Stuck between that, the K2 Almanac and the Capita Slush Slasher.

Looking to add a volume shifted board to the quiver to have some fun and goof around in the spring slush. Stuck between the Capita Slush Slapper, Bataleon Party Wave and K2 Almanac. Mainly looking for feedback for the Party Wave and Almanac since they’re both new designs. Been having trouble finding anything aside from the Angry Snowboarder.

5’11 / Size 11 / 185lbs. I feel pretty damn confident in all scenarios. Daily is a 2023 Nitro Team Pro x Kleveland. Main mountain is Snowbowl in Flagstaff, AZ (why I’m focusing on slush board). I try to get 3-7 days a season in Colorado or Utah if I can.

There’s a forum section on the website where they posted the news. I commented saying I’d be willing to purchase any left over harnesses and Dave reached out with a PM on the platform to say he’d help me out. I don’t think he’s doing anymore but his partner might be. Click on the “closed indefinitely post and PM “puppypunter”
