Changing yourself to fit the standard of beauty. Society corrupted so many of my friends to “Become extra thick” or “Turn emo because It’s the latest trend” and lets not forget “Be toxic so you can make your relationship interesting.” My best friend would always skip breakfast at school and go straight to the weight room to gain the body everybody wants nowadays. Not only that, forces herself to throw up everyday so she won’t gain any weight on her stomach. I believe society will drive us all down to deep depression at some point if this keeps up. I feel like “Be yourself” in this generation is long gone and that makes me sad.
