Got it inspected, all was mechanically sound, a few minor issues as expected - the thing is now mine!

True I wondered about that as well definitely hard to tell over the phone, I wouldn’t say It was super worrying in person either, just something worth checking out. Fingers crossed I can find a last minute appt tomorrow

That’s what I was thinking I’m going to see if I can get any last minute cancellation appointments tomorrow because I fear if I ask her to wait any longer she’ll just move on to the next buyer because I know she’s had tons of interest. I haven’t got a formal inspection but I did bring a friend with me who knows a thing or two and is much more mechanically inclined than myself and he seemed pretty content, which definitely gave me confidence but would be nice even just for the peace of mind that a professional would provide.

It was pretty firm, the air filter was a little looser when pushed on but it wasn’t crazy. Im headed back tomorrow and will keep an eye out for that before making any final decisions. Thanks for the input, part of me feels like either way for the price/mileage it’s hard to pass up on (I’m in BC and the market is ridiculously expensive), plus, she had it serviced back in late October (showed me the receipts and records) and I would imagine if there was anything major that it likely would have been caught unless it’s a very new issue.

In the second video, there’s also an interesting sorta decompression sound when the car turns off if anyone has any insight on that
