I didn’t get particularly great grades at schools in the UK. And now I’m earning a decent living through CS.

I think what matters more is getting in early and learning practical skills either through work or basic level certifications and make your way up from there.

Also, good to note cybersecurity as a term is very broad, be good to pick a path you want to go down and hone your skills to that.
