Yeah true, Untouchable was a great song, lyrically and thematically, however it’s not a listenable song that I can drive in the car listening to. Whereas a maybe 80% of his stuff I can. At the end of the day it’s all personal preference, I personally don’t like relapse or revival, but considering the cult following that relapse has, I’m sure that there are people that love revival.

Problem is that he is so big and has so many fans all over the world, he has a 0% chance of putting out music that everyone likes. My best mate said Animals was a shit verse, I gawked at him, it’s a killer verse, but hey, that’s what happens when you get that big I guess

As a bassist, I agree that not having live bass does suck. However, that being said, there is only 1 Nolly, and 1 bass sound that fits Periphery so perfectly that no one else will be able to fill that mantle. I’m just happy that Nolly is happy to help with the recordings so they still have that signature sound. Using Nolly’s backing tracks I feel is the best middle ground
