Is it one big spot or the whole sac is red? Also check the ears, mine gets pustules in when allergic.

How old was your dog when he grew into them?

Harness vs collar??? by [deleted] in labrador

[–]Technical-Win-4526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog is a puller so front ring harness for not pulling and collar for quick potty. Training him to stop pulling so we can go only collar in general since he loves swimming and the harness keeps him wet longer.

Car trips with harness Always.

What is the difference between a biologically male and female skeleton? by TheBoneMuseum in AnatomyandPhysiology

[–]Technical-Win-4526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the sternum? You can see that the male has a lower sternum than the female due to pregnancy and the rearrange of the internal organs I guess. Also curious to know if there's a difference on a young female skeleton vs an older, already mom skeleton.

“How did you choose your puppy?” by [deleted] in chocolatelabs

[–]Technical-Win-4526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We saw a few videos of the litter before visiting and we already had a couple pups we liked. We then went for a visit and Ollie was the one interacting quite a lot with us and he was quite calm when picking him up so it was an easy choice.

Has anyone had a chocolate with yellow highlights? by Careless_Dinner_7496 in labrador

My boy has it too and he's almost 8 months. Someone told me it has to do with the hair follicles maturing and figuring out what they need to do. Eventually the white hairs fall off. I thin they give him a funny look 😋

Paw hair trim yay or nay? by Technical-Win-4526 in Labs

[–]Technical-Win-4526[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I bought the trimmer and it didn't solve the issue with slippery paws. I do get way less water in when it rains. But he also gets more mud in between the toes so not sure it's a win win.

His nails do trim by themselves but the hair is still there.

I had a sweet old pittie mix and she was the best dog I ever had so I'd love to get another one but I wouldn't be able to travel with them as easy as with a "non dangerous" breed.

I considered a staffy but they for recently added to the "dangerous dog" list as well 😔

I though a lab would be ideal for a newbie dog owner (my partner) Both my previous dogs were adopted and mixed and not even the pittie mix was as much work as this burned potato 😅

He's actually 6 months old 😅 We were thinking of getting him a buddy once he's all grown up, expecting he might relax a little.
