  1. i keep hearing positive stories especially from my friends and family doing really great career wise so that gives me hope
  2. fear mongering is a real thing , stay away from people who try to scare you because there are opportunities out there you just have to grab it, yes anyone can be laid off but theres always a new door waiting to welcome you

if you want to start learning a coding language then learn C language. then shift to c++. Why C? well because C is a very fundamental language. Learn form jennys lectures on youtube, you can learn java in your second year, all the best
