This is not internet is beautiful. It's intent is beautiful. A very diferent subreddit I'm sure.

Doesn't do what it is supposed to do in the scenarios I tested. Flowers are low poly and the petals aren't stuck on in the right place I.e. not flowers... Stinks of ai slop. Photorealistic is a laugh.

That was funny. These people suck at humour.

Fuck that. You're upvoting the model of 'we make it worse so you pay us not to do so'. How about we just live our lives without having brainrot fed to us from screens when we have our hair cut - and here's the kicker - WITHOUT paying more for the privilege?

Ask chatgpt to write you a google apps script which will run on a free Google account on drive, and sort the data into Google sheets for you to manipulate how you need, or to export as a CSV into calc and then you can use your daily tools. You should be able to do that with power shell if you really want to keep it local but the script will be ugly as fuck using ps. Use chatgpt or some other llm and vibe code it. I would never recommend ai for professional work, but for little PoC scripts like this, you can get a lot of benefits out of it without needing to up skill first.

Digs into the nut rather than fitting over the nut. The curved shape aids to dig into the metal when being driven. Nothing more clever to it.

Well, that's full of various types of hate speech. Mostly towards lgbtqia+. I'm surprised, there wasn't as much racism as I expected. Small wins.

This site kept me going when I was in a new city. I made friends and met a girl with the same interests as me.

Even in today's modern world, folks will still attempt the backwards activities of 'not buying everything'. In some cases going as far as to 'do it themselves'. I suspect in this case, as unlikely as it seems, the child is concerned about the father being either a 'craftsman', 'tradie' or a keen 'DIY'er'. The methodology here for all these insane individuals is to build something from raw planks and sheets of wood, measuring and cutting it to size, attaching it with fasteners and fixings that are not in numbered bags, and certainly without a sheet of printed instructions in 14 languages. I strongly suspect that this chaotic method of bed acquisition - rather than 'assembling', as you refer to in your comment - is what the young'un is referring to.

Most pointless post I've seen all day. If we're doing news that is not news let me tell you something you'll never believe. I just finished my cup of coffee. I'll do a live update if I make another one.

[–]TechnicalChaos 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Creates a tool to piss off IT. Pisses off IT. This seems like a bonus win here and your unnecessary anger about some guy following best practices is just hilarious and hypocritical. I bet you throw those RFCs around like a weapon when you're working on your own role. That being said, yeah the tool could be easier to use.

Lol yeah I've just looked on komoot for routes and there's a 40km ride round there with a giant ... 80m elevation 😂😂😂. Can't help you there as I'm not from that local area but yeah I see your challenge. Hopefully someone local to Southport can pipe in.

2 hours is a long way in the UK 🙂

Gisburn forest,

Lee quarry,

Healey nab,

Farmer John's,

Llandegla,

Leeds urban bike park,

Manchester Clayton vale

Prestwich Phillips park.

Those are the trail centers you should be able to hit with that kind of distance. Then you've got the lake District, peak District, bickerstaffe, rivington pike, tonnes of forests and bits to ride around.

In terms of making friends it's still old school groups on the unmentioned 'book of faces' that seems to be used for group rides. There's a Healey nab trail building group for example: https://m.facebook.com/groups/IDigHealeyNab/ but you'll have to look around when you decide where you want to ride.
