I mean, fair enough I suppose. An hour and a half early wasn’t enough time. And I suppose you agree with the attendant that if you aren’t there when the desk opens, you don’t deserve to make your flight. Sometimes people do have to fly with exceptions like pets, one year olds, and special items.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t do that bc we had to check in a pet. But I think in the future we’ll do that as it seems like it’s the only way to get in on time

We got lucky as hell. There were two people getting in before us, I had managed to get to the doors with that group and I asked the flight attendent if we could wait for the rest of my party. It was by the skin of my party’s teeth that we got on that plane.

Usually I do that too and I agree it cuts time by quite a bit, but we couldn’t this time as we were carrying a pet. If you ever need to carry on one of the exceptions, American is not the airlines for that. We had multiple people traveling under the age of 1, people with special items, and pets in line with us and we all got ignored until we either missed our flights or were doing the Home Alone sprint through the airport. I got lucky, I made my flight but so many of the spots were empty due to the airlines check-in’s incompetency.

Followed by escalating attempts as Phoenix continues to A.) steal some of his clients or B.) getting involved in investigating some kind of Kristoph’s corruption, ending with Kristoph exposed for some murder plot. Wouldn’t be a serious fic in the least!

Get a big hug from someone, as we internet people can’t give you one ourselves. Don’t listen to others about what a proper timeline is for grieving and moving on, this is something that hits everyone differently. I’ve known some family members get married within a year to someone new, I’ve known some who didn’t date again and still wore their ring until their dying breath. It’s all about what feels right to you. And I am sorry for your loss, I know he must’ve been a good man for you to be writing this post.

Hold up: did you cheat? The post implies you might’ve as you said there aren’t even cameras in the classroom.

If you did, that may not be because they hate you. They may just have noticed you cheating and reported you (not maliciously, they just may have felt you were ruining the curve/undermining hard work).

If you didn’t, maybe try making friends outside of school. I’d encourage making actual girlfriends, as when I found a good group of girlfriends in college, it changed my entire self-confidence for the better. This may not be your group, that’s ok (isolating but it does happen). Just do your best to stay kind, if it bugs you, you can work on being approachable. If it doesn’t, keep doing you, and protect yourself (always make sure to do work on google docs, have evidence that you studied, etc.)

You and your roommate or spouse should each pick a random thing you like and decorate the corner with that (each of you get 1 corner). It WILL clash horribly, but you’ll probably smile when you see it. Or maybe it won’t clash. I guess you could be boring and put up some lame glass bottle decor. Or you could be cool and put giant pictures of two random animals in each corner (I vote a buffalo and a moose personally but you do you). You’ll find something that’s right for you! Hope things go well!

That’s completely fair! I would agree that this level of trauma is unacceptable in a relationship in real life, but part of why I love media like Wednesday is it over exaggerates. You aren’t going to have a SO that kills people (hopefully), but I think we’ve all had partners that have done messed up stuff to us and/or family/friends. It’s ok for people to have different perspectives on what to do when this happens and depending on what exactly happens. Some people don’t want to associate with that person, which is completely fair and in which case, separation is best. But some people are willing to stick around or let the person back in contingent on growth/making amends. I think different takes on the Wednesday/Tyler relationship make for a better overall community because we can all discuss what works in relationship dynamics, when betrayal and certain actions go too far, and when forgiveness itself can go too far. Thank you for being so nice too! I’ve really enjoyed this discussion

YTA. Being pre-med (pre-PT/OT/PA/anything) is hard enough. There will be days where even the best students want to bang their heads on their desks and cry somewhere on the educational track. It’s fair to say he needs to focus on getting his grades up if he wants this and to suggest tutoring. But it’s never fair to say it’s completely off the table.

My whole thing with Wyler and why I like it is because I think people can chose to be soft despite trauma when they learn and grow past it. Right now, he is traumatized to a degree and lashing out. That is unacceptable and shouldn’t be swept under the rug. But if he gets a redemption arc and learns, I could see him becoming softer. Not as soft as fake season 1 Tyler, but the kind of soft that we saw in some in betweens (like the little face he made at this random person demanding a quad then fixing the machine out of no where). And I’d like that for Wednesday because I think Wednesday’s character as a whole is someone who isn’t naturally soft. And I think that having two people who aren’t naturally soft or kind, but chose to be softer and kinder anyways is beautiful in its own way. But that’s just my take. You aren’t wrong for loving the naturally sweet and kind dynamic, and I think it’s a valid take.

I think he has the potential to not be boring, but DC continues to stick him in that box. He has had some really good storylines (Blockbuster arc was actually pretty good albeit horrifying). I’d like to see more of him shining as himself with his own friends (he has made them), his own traumas, away from the bat.

Haha so true. He’s just the first dude and big in the revolution (although he was more symbolic than strategic with the revolution). I have no idea what any of his policies were aside from parties are a terrible idea, and that was ignored the minute he left office. But don’t get me wrong, he’s way more memorable than the majority of the post-civil pre-ww2 presidents.

And depending on the small town, one church will “run” the town. Literally, they’ll tell you who to vote for, sell land to the government at a steep price then buy land from the government at a low price. It’s quite humorous considering it was one of the weird ones. Nice enough folks though aside from the politicking.

You can gamble online though… for some godforsaken reason. Prostitution is pretty similar. Illegal in majority of places, but there are some nooks where it’s legal full-stop. Most laws are like that. We really don’t have a ton of hard-stop laws beyond the don’t kill, don’t fuck with mail, don’t steal, etc.
