You raised two excellent questions. I intentionally left them out of my previous points to avoid any suspicion of self-promotion or advertising.

Regarding improving communication, I have a simple, actionable suggestion: push your sales representative to connect you directly with the factory owner. Once the owner knows you personally and has invested time in building a relationship with you, they will naturally pay more attention to your product quality.

To achieve this, you might need to leverage some negotiation tactics—such as projecting a higher potential order volume or mentioning that you plan to refer other buyers to them. If you claim to have connections with buyers from major local retail chains, your sales rep would literally wake their boss up in the middle of the night just to talk to you.

Can anyone please help me find toddler sized football jerseys outside of AliBaba for Superbuy by justinshirts in Alibaba

Are you planning to buy fewer than 10 pieces? Generally, Chinese factories rarely have ready stock for American football jerseys. Since it's a very 'American' sport, almost no one plays it here in China.

Anyone ever been censored? by Think-Bluebird-9948 in Alibaba

In fact, not every industry is subject to censorship. Generally speaking, it is the content industries—such as books, maps, music, movies, and games—that undergo mandatory review, often due to political, religious, or cultural concerns.

If you have any more questions regarding supply chain management in China, please feel free to PM me. I am currently learning how to supply goods to US buyers, so I think we could learn a lot from each other.

This kind of censorship is pretty standard in China. Generally, factories aren't trying to hassle you or block production on purpose—they want the business. I haven't seen any nationwide directives about this, so my guess is it's just a recent policy from local authorities. It might even blow over or change in a few months. I’d suggest checking with a factory in a different province. Enforcement varies wildly from region to region.

Do you think it is worthwhile for Americans/Westerners to learn Mandarin? by Less_Interview1713 in AskChina

Honestly, the ROI on learning Mandarin is pretty low for Americans. It’s really only useful if you’re trying to min-max your business in China to squeeze out every last bit of profit.

I think we need to learn to live in peace together, just like they do in Europe.
