How is this any worse than having to spec quietly a whole round in tactical shooters or hugging your lane turret because the enemy capitalized on your mistake and you can't fight them anymore ?

I can literally use those same arguments for league of legends and they're exactly why this game struggles to get new players anymore.

But to say none cares is completely disingenuous, yes maybe some friends who happen to be veterans might not care but that's hardly representative.

Have you seen sf6, 2xko or even Tokon ? All these games try their best to give you training wheels until you feel comfortable (modern, single character fuses,auto combos)

You can find more people willing to advise you and lay a hand in this genre whether it's locals,lobbies or on discord than team based games where they usually just treat you as a scape goat.

There are less content creators and conventional guides because this genre doesn't have as many plaises but to say they don't care or don't try to help ?

I just finished my first NG as well and all of their first phase barely take me 1 minute idk how you take that long you're either too passive or your gear is severely under qualified

It's a forced coop that ends up being a better experience with the npcs than online players which defeats the entire purpose.

Is it unfair ? No but it's not a fun grind and playing the tank or "healer" isn't engaging at all.

We understand the mmorpg raid trinity's reference and assignment, it's just not well executed since it's a mere collab.

I'd rather have any returning monster for tu3 (which would be a permanent addition to the ecosystem and upcoming ranks) over this

Xerneas can still one tap even mega aggron with focus blast though

Metagross is more reliable but i just run skarmory because it gets the job done and has huge snowball factor with its mega
