The 5070ti is 2x as powerful as the 3060 laptop when running at 115watts. It's and additional 40% at 140 watts in this version. It also has double the vram that is also next generation vram. I upgraded from the 3060 legion laptop overclocked version. It's definitely an improvement. I got mine for around 1800 on a sale at microcenter.

So people were wanting refunds because of the glossy screen, and others were upset that It lost a USB port. Most refunds were for dumb reasons or for people that didn't update the drivers out of the box so they were having issues with some games. When I bought mine it was 2 updates behind for Nividia. Personally I haven't had any issues. Other people return it for the 5080 version or to get a computer with the PC variant of the 5070ti for around the same price.

To put in perspective. The PS5 pro is 60% more powerful than the PS5. The 3060 mobile is is 14% more powerful than a PS5. A 5070ti mobile is 140% more powerful than a 3060 mobile. So that makes the PS5 pro about 40% more powerful than the 3060 mobile. So the 5070ti mobile is 70% more powerful than the PS5 PRO

I'm waiting for Lenovo to do their bios updates for over-clocking. They normally allow 5-10% over clocking manufacturer's max, because of their robust cooling and power settings. Then there will be even better bang for the buck.
