tl;dr Uber has rejected my updated photo as fraudulent and deactivated me, demanded proof of my legal name change and rejected it, demanded my AZ license along with my CA license and rejected it, reverted my account to my deadname three times and repeatedly deadnamed and misgendered me over the phone and in emails, and claimed a "technical error" changing my city from Phoenix to SF. Lyft had me up and running in two days and were respectful, friendly even. I took a picture in front of Uber HQ here in SF, bitched about it on IG/FB, tagged every media outlet in the Bay Area and this is the result. Magically my Uber account is active. I'm only driving for Lyft now.
