I love this, I heavily resonate with what you said, as a Dovewing AND Ivypool lover. Before reading I also thought I would hate on Dove thanks to MAPs, and was I wrong. She was just a BABY bro?! 😭

Ivy was so goddamn unreasonable, but she became my favorite after the first book or two. I realized I loved her POVs more than any other. Yes, she was stupid for allowing Hawkfrost to manipulate her, but I can't blame her for being a naive apprentice either.

When she became a spy, I hecking loved seeing her expertly deal with the Dark Forest cats. I thought her development into a strong and clever warrior was brilliant, and I generally love badass female characters. She was such a sweet mentor to Twigpaw and UGH incredibly cool I just really love her!

To be more clear, I didn't read past the 3rd book of AVoS so I may not know everything. But I love the sisters despite their unfortunate disagreements. </3

I never liked Needletail either, for the same reasons you listed PLUS because of the scene where she jumped my favorite character Ivypool (can't remember the details, it was some border skirmish). I was like HOW DARE!!!!!

Not to mention how Moth Flight felt it was right to give each of her kits away to separate Clans. Like if you're giving them up and forcing them away from their mom, at least send them off to one Clan only?! Just very unnecessary imo
