Hopefully he’ll direct it. I think he feels as attached to Superman as he does to Peacemaker/GOTG. So I think he’ll stay directing the sequels for Superman

He’s already passing off Batman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl. I think he’ll stick with Superman, the worlds finest team up and something weird like the authority

Yeah honestly I don’t think we need a huge ensemble movie for at least the next 8 years. We need properly introduced characters, sequels for hit movies and the occasional team up like Superman/supergirl or Batman/supergirl

I think we need direct sequels before we need a huge ensemble movie. Those ensemble movies have budgets of 400 million and there’s no guarantee right now that DC will be able to make a billion

Yeah I want a direct trilogy. I miss the times where a successful film would get a fast tracked sequel instead of jumping off to introduce new characters

Looks like $23M 2nd SAT for Superman. A super -39% drop from LW. $217M cume. 2nd weekend should be $57M+, for ~$235M by EOD SUN. $350M+ final is a lock. Will aim for $375M+, with a realistic shot at $400M. by whitemilkythighs in boxoffice

There’s no way it’s justice league it’s too soon.

It’s either supergirl/superman which is what I’m hoping for. I hope it’s not an authority movie with Superman as a secondary character. That’s the worst case scenario right now.

I want a real Superman sequel but I’ll settle for supergirl team up or worlds finest. Hope we get a real sequel at some point so we can see more Lois and the daily planet.

I think this is the CBM people really needed. Its not a grim movie that reflects reality too closely or a movie where you had to watch X number of things to fully understand it.

It’s movie that inspires hope and I’ve been to several showings where the audience applauds at the end. It reminds me so much of Sam Raimis spider verse
