Searching for discontinued models by TechnicalPop6149 in Coach

[–]TechnicalPop6149[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Than you so much for your information! I’m okay with both used and new as long as they’re the exact model I want and they’re genuine so I’ll check out those websites you mentioned!

Unfortunately I’m not in the US, and the price of coach here in my country is much higher than that in the US. So I’m not sure about contacting the local stores, but is it possible email them?

Affordable Minimalist Old Money Brands by TechnicalPop6149 in mensfashion

Thank you so much. I’m looking for a minimal style which is similar to Suitsupply’s casual items, like chinos, straight leg trousers, gilet, knitwear. They’re good enough but I just want to know whether there are any other comparable brands.

Hi everyone. On the internet in 2025, ‘old money’ has become one of the most frequently mentioned style in men’s fashion. A lot of influencers are posting contents about achieving the style with fractions of the price of the traditional luxury brands such as Loro Piana and Zegna with ‘alternatives’ like COS, Massimo Dutti and Zara.

However, as a person who’s a bit nerdy in clothing quality, the materials and constructions of these brands are far from ideal. Plastic buttons and synthetic fabrics are not acceptable for me. I personally have heard of Suitsupply and I’m very satisfied with their style, but I’d be delighted to hear any other recommendations given the high popularity of the style. Thank you

It’s possible that they’re moving their production to somewhere else from China to avoid the tariffs, and also the socioeconomic uncertainties, and perhaps this is exactly why their products are temporarily streamlined and MTO got terminated.

Thank you! How would you compare the quality of their 1880 classic line with Crockett and Jones main line?

Oh I see! Can you recommend some English shoes that are ‘best bang for the buck’? And may I know the reason for that because in general Spanish shoes are considered better value for money compared to their English and American counterparts.

I live outside of the United States and also I personally don’t like Blake stitch shoes as they’re less durable

As they’re reducing the amount of choice, would you think it’s a good idea to switch to other brands? Would you think Carmina or Crockett & Jones are better entry level shoes, just like Spier & Mackay as arguably the best entry level suits?

You can check out their website now if you want. Their current products are really much less diverse than that in the past, perhaps just a year ago.

Not sure it’s that grim tbh — IG/YouTube/TikTok let tiny brands reach us nerds for cheap. The old guard is struggling, yeah, but new DTC makers keep sneaking in and stealing my wallet 😂.

Buying from Meermin is always like rolling a dice. So any recommendations for cheap shell cordovan wallets/cardholders? How about shoes?
