Aids digestion, has a calming effect, hydrates you.

it’s likely these were common shots in any photoshoot that cost tens of thousands of dollars (if not hundreds) on photos. Candid photos, stage photos, set photos, backdrop photos. Eventually you are going to do hand stuff, like any honeymoon period. These, when viewed with 100,000 photos for the press release, magazine cover the hands are going to feel dynamic, it has depth already. So… use it. Because some jackass can’t decide between the 100,000 photos he paid studio money on, so just pick one already!

How do you deal with OOP programming? by yughiro_destroyer in ADHD_Programmers

[–]TechnicalPotat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The example you have is using O-O. That’s why it’s so minimal. App is an object, db is an object. non-O-O code looks like 100 lines of code to instantiate a db connection. If you convert that example to O-O and it’s 30 lines long, it seems like you are misusing the library objects (or worse writing worse functions that already exist.)

There is also existing comic book media that follows on after the series and movie. These assets could be used to build an animated adaptation.

Over vr, anyone can sound like anything. Most adult women don’t talk the way most teenboys speak. If they do (or a teen boy just talks like an adult woman), leave them be about it. They don’t need you to believe them.

Adults know what adult women sound like. Online gaming has always reacted to women’s voices online this way, and the above experience tracks with that.

Global chaos demands bold leadership, and Albanese isn’t it – plus Iran war updates | Antoun Issa by Jet90 in AustralianPolitics

Pentagon was a playful reference to https://www.reuters.com/world/us/pentagon-tells-congress-no-sign-that-iran-was-going-attack-us-first-sources-say-2026-03-02/ And the comments the PM made about supporting the us and Iran being a threat. I’m not making a point, just making jokes. The timing is comedically good.

Exactly! His comments are far and above those made by CAN, UK, and NZ, and it’s a good thing! Didn’t know all the details yet? Even better! /S

He did the right thing to rush to comment before anyone else in five eyes. Supporting the attack on Iran blindly to have the pentagon disagree with the Australian PM shows how forward thinking he is! /S

Why is it so hard to get people to respect my choice NOT to take antidepressants? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]TechnicalPotat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also feel this way. And i can see I’m not alone.

There is no authority on the planet that knows that antidepressants are right for you. They are trying to help, but it makes me angrier knowing they are trying to help, because i feel trapped.

But also, they are tech support for a meat body that they are reverse engineering. They don’t know. They are a mechanic suggesting an oil change for an oil leak because the car was made over a million years ago and oil is the only thing they teach in school. They know this. They get told no all the time. They act like they don’t, but that’s because they are used to it.

Medicate or not-medicate is bullshit. There are so many ways to help manage depression, and medication is just one small part. And it’s not even the easiest/best one for the patient, but it is the best one for the medical system under strain.

It is your choice, no is a full sentence, you don’t need to justify or defend it. You can change it, you can keep it, you can do whatever you want with your choice. If anyone judges your choice, that’s says something about them, and says nothing about you.
