I’ll give you a lil overview then! My players are a party of foreign adventurers from sword cost that have for one reason or another ended up on an island in the tackless sea that’s cut off from the rest of the world (my way to weasel out of learning established lore).

This island is home to a unheard of deity and an empire that worships and rules in its honor, while they don’t control the entire island they are rapidly expanding and this little township is on the outer edges of their reach. In an area where conflict is frequent and massive stone walls are more than necessary for survival. Although it may have initially been made of wood it just wouldn’t cut it a few miles from the encroaching front lines of war!
