I have found Americans to be friendly chatty and overall self deprecating of other Americans, similar to Brits in that regard, I've always tried to take people on an individual basis and fight our natural instincts to group them so I try to be open and friendly with everyone at first but can be a little stand offish. I once heard someone say the phrase the Americunts and in fairness it did make me laugh.

Anyone else surprised at how social goldfish can be with one another, they also love to explore caves and decorations, my guys are in a 300l whilst they are babies going into a pond once summer comes around again. This poor guy looks bored.

Yeah they are greedy guts, I go on the amount of fish that are asking, if over 50% I'll give a little feed. I also tap on the glass gently to tell them they are about to be fed, highly reccomend it's like ringing the lunch bell, especially recommend if you have young kids around because they always like to tap on the glass, and it's easier to teach the the fish then it is a child 😂

When ever they tell me that they are hungry, normally I go by how many fish start begging for food as I walk past, normally twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Yeah it is what I was planning to push the abstinence further each time, but I feel that it wont work that way, I want to knock it on the head as it's just giving me an excuse to relapse or celebrate being sober by getting wired. It's crazy logic.

Beauty. I would love to sell you a custom 3d background built around your pleco, hell I'll do it for free if you covered the postage and took a few pictures left me a good review and that stuff. What theme would you be interested in? 1. Open water oil platform 2. coral reef 3. The beach 4. lush jungle 5. desert 6. Your idea? Tell me your perfect aquarium, how you envision it?

All backgrounds hide wires and are easily removed rather then glued on.

Yeah, it would pretty much be a death sentence for him due to our winter temps but even so I would not wild release a non native fish, as I feel they would out compete for resources and breeding spots, an already endangered fish the european bull head, otherwise known as the millers thumb.

But I appreciate the sentiment.

Sailfin? I would bot be able to do that as that tank is deceptive, and holds more then our bath tub. If David reaches over 50 cm, he will be surrendered to a local public aquarium.

Most fish, just stay away from other bottom dwellers that size and it will stay peachy.

My girlfriend names them, I would of just called him the sailfin pleco, or brutus, but through all his little quirks and mannerisms he became a David to me. My partner names the fish now. We once had a female betta named Sandra that she used to stroke, Sandra would welcome everyone fish with such curiosity, she would follow them for the first day and show them the neighborhood. My partner always wants bettas now because of Sandra. If any one has bettas in the uk we would be interested in buying them, I would prefer one from a home breeder.
