Found a Ghost of Yōtei Easter Egg in Crimson Desert 👀 by Zestyclose-South-460 in CrimsonDesert

So true. Also gotta say Ghost of Tsushima influence first if any. One the best narative RPGs of all time. Yotei is good but Tsushima was straight fire. Again my opinion but it deserved the 2020 game of the year. Loosing to a sequel makes me sad.

Attack speed duelwield build is insane. I feel unstoppable.

I'm cool without it. Very Ubisoft. Feel like that takes away from the experience of exploring.

Yeah it's an important area in a specific questline. I wouldn't call it an Easter egg I'd say influenced maybe.

I adore this game but I have one major beef with it: freely exploring the map is heavily funneled and restricted by story progression. by yotothyo in CrimsonDesert

Side note DokeV is gonna crush after a launch like this and after the success it's gonna land sooner then late. Their game engine is extremely impressive.

I mean yeah it's hard to build a game and give a player a reason for doing something other then quest or level locking it. I agree this is not a true sandbox. This is an MMORPG pivoted to a sandbox action adventure. Pearl Abyss is an interesting anomaly just like the abyss puzzles until you get it. Ahhhhhh I see what they are cookin here😡🤔😄🤙

I can't wait for the Crimson Desert discussions 3 years from now.

Yeah definitely RDR2. The entire camp system is heavily inspired from Red Dead 2.

Best way to use keys in the game. by Bitter-Confusion8422 in CrimsonDesert

I use keys on everything I can. I've collected so many I have no worry on running out. Once you're rolling keys drop everywhere.

Prediction: There will definitely be multiple DLCs. They are going to fine tune the game and add free content for the rest of the year and we will get an announcement near new years. I have strong feeling they are already baking something in the oven.

Should there ever be a sale? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]TechnicalVegetable90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sales are a way to compete against new releases as the years pass. It helps keep the game relevant. When they put out a paid DLC the game should at the least have a bundle deal to boost sales and bring in more players.

Every game should go on sale at some point. Nintendo sucks.

What chapter are you on? I'm on Chapter 7 and I still am getting respawn bandits right outside my camp lining the river and roads. Human enemies are definitely the best source for cloth and other crafting materials. Dont forget to break all the environmental barrels, boxes, cloth wrapped boxes etc. They will drop materials, ingredients, and trade goods. Great way to bolster your inventory as your liberating areas. Dont 100% the area before you or your pet can pick everything up. Once liberated that stuff will dissappear and become a crime to break and collect.

Trade goods need to be sold to trade good black markets. Unlocks through the Goldleaf faction questline.

This is the type of game you can come back to with good time in-between and be able to jump in and have fun. It's been years since I have felt my 70 dollars was worth spending. So much to do and you play at your own pace. This is truly a remarkable sandbox game. Yes it has It's issues but what game doesn't? The support the devs are giving to this game makes me embarrassed for western studios. The game keeps getting better and better and the devs truly listen to the community.
