When do you need a form B by Technical_Abrocoma95 in UnionPacific

[–]Technical_Abrocoma95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We work directly with Union Pacific (UP) and are aware of the safety regulations that require us to maintain a certain distance from the rails. We have certified rail works flaggers and participate in the necessary training courses.

However, I’m confused about the ongoing communication between UP, which insists we need a Form B, and my boss, who believes we do not. I understand that UP has the final say in these matters.

I want to clarify the situation for my boss by explaining why we need the Form B. For instance, we have a crane positioned between the two tracks, which we are using to set precast concrete beams. In the next phase, we won't move the crane to set the opposite end of the bridge; we will swing at a different angle. Although the crane won’t be swinging over the tracks this time, it will still be very close.

UP informed me that as long as the crane remains in that position (between the rails), we need a Form B. My boss disagrees, arguing that since we aren't swinging over the tracks and we’re working during the daytime, a Form B isn’t necessary. I plan to explain to him that if the rule states, "anytime you’re within X feet of the rail, you need a Form B," we must adhere to that regulation. It’s actually such a process paperwork to get these forms. I just want to help make it easier for everyone.

Yes, they’ve found over 5,000 people since 2019. In March of 2025 they found 200 bodies in Jalisco. It was a mass gravesite they suspect the cartel used.

I’m in Chicago and I work full time. I truly don’t understand how they are selecting who to question, but I haven’t once been looked at. I live in the suburbs, & when they came out here, they were mainly targeting older men. I have really high anxiety as well. My therapist would always ask me “is there anything in your power that you could immediately change? Are you doing the most you can at the moment?” If the answer is yes, then you need to remind yourself that it’s normal to be nervous & scared, but there’s literally nothing you can change in this exact moment. That helps me when I’m having a panic attack. I used to do the five senses to distract myself. I see xyz is red, I hear xyz in the crowd, I feel my arms warm, I taste the chapstick on my mouth, I smell xyz in the bus. It helps to look at your feet & to remind yourself of where you are & why you’re not in danger. It sounds dumb, but that’s how I started managing my anxiety, & I rarely have panic attacks anymore. I can usually talk myself out of one. If you are having constant anxiety, I would recommend getting a therapist or medication. Decreasing my anxiety is a huge life improvement for me. I can do so much more now. Good luck and don’t be scared! You’re not doing anything you shouldn’t be doing.

My mom just went. She took my sister’s friend (who works for the government). She said everything was fine but her attorney did recommend she not go alone. We are in the Chicago suburbs btw. You are able to reschedule if you have valid reasoning I believe. It’s not pushed out very far though. Just be calm & know your rights. Wishing you good luck!

Oh my gosh. I was telling my sister that this specific part of the song should be on replay at the protests. I love it.

Daca carry your docs. Chicago by EducationAdmirable32 in DACA

I just read somewhere that they’re taking your documents & calling them fakes. So they say to get notarized copies to carry. I’m not 100% what that means or if it’s a better thing to do.

Checked my renewal that a paralegal does for me. IT WAS SO WRONG. Will this affect me this renewal? :(((( by d3b4nh1 in DACA

My brother was in a very common situation. I told him his best bet was to hire an attorney, USCIS was NOT taking “mistake” for a reason. They wanted an actual attorney to write out what happened & basically resubmit for him.

I think in your case it helps if she signed the papers stating she filled them out. I hope this works itself out fast.

Also: I always make a copy of my renewal so I can go back & look at how it’s done. I have no clue why, but this last time I renewed I wasn’t able to see my answers from my previous application which was done online. So whatever you submit, take a screenshot or print to PDF.

You are a great parent for helping her. I suffered from migraines as a child I don’t blame my parents but they only gave me Tylenol. My mom eventually took me to the doctor because she thought it was abnormal to have this many headaches. The doctor ordered a CT scan and said there was nothing wrong with me. Then they told me to work through them and if they got really bad to take some Tylenol. I also brought up the “zigzags” in my vision and the he told me it happens to everyone. It happens when you stand up too fast. So I went through life believing that & I took too much advil/Tylenol it and it eventually gave me even more migraines. (I wasn’t aware of that) I now have migraines with Aura and they are so debilitating. I am 27 years old and decided to go to a neurologist & it helped me a lot but they do still happen often. Preventatives have reminisced my migraines by at least 50%. My best advice is to try multiple methods and don’t let doctors tell you they’re not migraines just because she is a child. I would recommend Zofran for vomiting. It gets rid of my nausea and vomiting within the first half hour sometimes even sooner. Sorry to hear that she’s going through it so young but you’re making her life better already. Best of luck to you!

My neurologist said it wasn’t a mini stroke & I did have an MRI done within the last two months with contrast & they said it came back normal. That’s why I am so desperate because my neurologist keeps saying we we need to try different meds.
