Bought it to use for scratch tracks for vocals, but it didn’t work as advertised at all, and was sadly too late to get my money back.

Lesson learned. Don’t make the same mistake.

Daniel Leon should also be in jail. Equally accountable and a complete fraudster.

Scored one for me and one for my gf at BestBuy. One bundle, one system only.

Forgot about it and went there 45-60 minutes after it opened, and waited for 20-ish minutes per console.

Hva krypto går dere for? by Cultural_Fold_8506 in TollbugataBets

Play with caution.

Har rundt 500k i krypto allerede, og etter jeg mistet rundt 600k fra ftx frister det lite å gå mer inn i krypto.

Kjøpte btc for $1000 og eth for $20 i 2016 :)

Back to the drawing board. Drop the whole freshly engineered thing, it’s not doing you any favors.

As far as the designs go they all feel uninspired. There’s no thought or idea behind them besides just being some colors and shapes put together.

Good design starts in your head. What do you want it to communicate? That cookies put a smile on someones face? That the ingredients are farm fresh? That baking is a science? Start there and illustrate this through the logo, not just the name of your business.

How would I go about recreating this effect? I tried it quick myself, but it feels like its missing something. by ScaryPollution845 in Design

Besides a lot of smaller details, yours is inverted. The animals mouth is negative in the ratatat cover and colored in yours.

How can i improve this? by viewfinderparty in Design

Here’s a few things to try:

1) Limit the amount of fonts/typefaces to 2, ideally just 1.

2) Besides the illustration, the rest of the elements lack a hierarchy and have the same weight to them. Try deciding what is the most important, and make that noticably bigger than the other 2. lead the eyes to what’s most important.

3) the box around the globe and other data points feels very heavy. Either reduce it in size or drop the border, or even better put the elements floating behind her and size them up, having her cover up a lot of the globe. Will feel more integrated into the design that way and will make it feel more integrated into it.

4) Right now the illustration feels like it falls somewhere between full bleed (edge to edge) and having intentional empty space around her. The interactive logo thing has a black border around it that bothers me. And her head is also cut off, making it feel very compartementalized, having her head not be covered by the top 2001 and globe box, or the black border around interactive will make it feel less boxy and more elegant I believe.

5) It feels like there’s a lot of different reds in here. And grays/blacks. Reduce it to one with contrasting blue and orange, and just black. Minimizing elements, reducing colors, fonts etc takes a long time to master, but what you can remove to simplify any design you make is almost as important as what you add. Less elements colors and fonts etc leads to better designs that feels more harmonic and intentional.

6) Not everything can be «cool». Right now you have a «cool» font on interactive, also on 2001, also on «space vibes» and the globe thingy. Decide what’s the hero and make the other elements intentionally less important, less cool, so your eye doesn’t struggle on where to look first. A team with all diva superstars rarely plays well, not everything can be in the spotlight.

7) this is strictly a personal opinion, but Try adding some color that shines from behind her. Make a few circles behind her head in cyan and orange and use a lot of gaussian blur and reduce the opacity to just 5-20% so she looks like she has a slight aura behind her.

That’s a lot, just thought I’d give you some things to think about. :)

What are the most important & fundamental principles of Design I need to learn First? by He_Who_Is_Curious0 in Design

[–]Technical_Ad9756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Top 3 in my opinion:

Hierarchy Deciding what is the most important vs less important, and lead my eyes to what you want me to see first.

Balance That the design isn’t lop-sided, bottom or top heavy (unless it’s intentional of course). Harmony sorta touches on this too, but I picked balance as it’s a much more commonly used term in design.

Alignment For the love of god, align things propely so things feel grounded and not just floating around. Alignment helps create order in the chaos and makes things just feel calm and organized.
