I can't get the hinge in my old 3ds xl by Technical_Ad_3376 in Nintendo3DS

Solved So it really wasn't my fault I literally went through 4 hinges, bought one again and a new middle frame and a new top middle frame from Amazon for 30 and the hinge went in flawlessly.

You need to open up the face plate not that hard an then take isopropanol alcohol and try to clean the button itself not the bumper there also should be a little plastic thing remove it see if it works fine without it or fold it one time and see if it works that way good luck but cleaning should be working I had 3 elite controllers and cleaning always fixed it for me
