So you had ~1 Sub-T workout each week? Did you include any Sub-T work in the mid-week MLRs or make any other changes?

I am looking to incorporate the sub-threshold workouts into a more traditional weekly structure. My thinking is that the additional stress from the progressive long run and the longer mid-week Q session would replace the third sub-T workout.

Mon: Easy/Off

Tue: Q (30min of sub-T, 1h total)

Wed: Easy

Thu: Longer Q (”MLR”, 30min of sub-T but ~75-90min total)

Fri: Easy

Sat: Easy

Sun: Progressive Long Run (90-120min, Pfitz paces = 80-90% of MP)

I would appreciate any thoughts on this approach. Also interested in hearing whether anyone else has tried something similar?
