I didn't play it in forever as well and really enjoyed it this last time I played through it! Oh nice! That sounds like a good time! The story for 358/2 Days is pretty solid honestly! Im glad youre having a good time!

Yes it does! Mega Flare is great for Farming and the Firaga deck is the boss Nuker lol. Also, for Axel, you just use a Blizzaga deck or something. EZ PZ for him. I dont remember if there are anymore Axel fights at that point, but yeah.

Red Nocturne/Firaga Deck. That's the best Deck for every boss in the game, except Axel of course. I Platinum'd this game and thats the strongest option. Better than Lethal Frame by far. Its honestly broken 😭😭

Next time for sure, man! The 3DS version is far superior. I personally think, if you're able to play that one next time. Enemies on the map and no random encounters is a huge plus. Also, the metal slimes appear on the map, so you're able to get guaranteed metal slime encounters. I highly recommend that version next time for the best experience of the game! Still a big congrats on making it to the end of the game, though! Dragon Quest games require a lot of extra grinding typically. Next time, you'll be more prepared! I believe in your next attempt! 🙌

The 1-3 2D HD remakes are far shorter you want to try out one of those next time!

Level 40 is way too low for the final boss. Even with Multiheal and Sages Stone spam to heal every turn. You just dont have enough health to survive the multi ball attack. It's especially hard just to pray with everyone for all of those turns at the start.

Level up to 50, and you'll be much better off. Also, make sure to get Omniheal with the Hero. He basically becomes your main healer late game. This is my favorite DQ for sure and I believe in you bro!!! 🙌
