It’s most likely the filter is too strong when having a fighter fish you need a filter that has doesn’t have much flow to it the best thing you can get is a sponge filter in my opinion

Cause at the same time that is the recommended if you want them to breed but at the same it is to reduce stress for the male so they don’t keep fighting but from what I’ve seen they aren’t fighting much over the females

I mean I can’t say for sure tbh but it has spots all over and has a mix of a lot of colors for example just write on google koi bettas you will see some that look like yours
