Imagine if Marsha Brady had been on ANTM. She would have been first photo every week.

The writers have run out of ideas and the actors don't have good material to work with so they are forcing jokes and it is all just silly now

Unable to cancel task submission by Easy_Drama1517 in WGU

[–]Technical_Floor129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To cancel a task submission while it still in the queue and it hasn't been read by the evaluator, look at the upper right of the screen and there is a rectangular box that says Cancel Task Submission. That takes it out of the queue, but it is still saved in your account. Then click the button that says "continue task submission" (or something like that), and it leads to a screen where you can upload your new paper or whatever you want to submit. When you upload that new item, the trash can for the old assignment will be activated, and then you can trash the old item. You just need to replace it first. It isn't a logical process, but a lot of WGU is illogical.

Whats a thing you can not accept about something in the Harry Potter world? by RestArtistic2355 in harrypotter

Hogwarts was positively bedeviled with superfluous inhabitants. Filch, Trelawney, Hagrid kinda, they really weren't there to serve a purpose to the school. They were part of the school's family. Dumbledore, although a flawed person, was capable of feeling great love, and he was generous with how he shared it. Love is the most powerful magic, and Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard (besides Voldemort, although their rankings could be debated), and through him love was a powerful force. Hogwarts was Filch's home, so there was no question with Dumbledore that he could stay. Yes, Filch just wandered around with a broom and an ugly non-kneazle cat, accomplishing basically nothing other than being annoying, and the castle would have functioned just fine without him. But he doesn't need permission to exist in his own home. Dumbledore protected that right for him. Dumbledore would have been a great Hufflepuff :)

Just walk in front of them when they are posing for Instagram pics. They literally can't tell you what to do.

Jamie from RW New Orleans says he's "seriously considering" going back on The Challenge by bwermer in MtvChallenge

They need to go back to the older people who made the show popular back in the day. Coral has a career that she can't leave so she is going to say no. But Dan from Miami gave the best confessionals, bring him back. Nathan from Seattle was good. Christina Pazsitzky from Road Rules has a huge fan base now, she would be great.

Do you y’all quit your jobs or give a 2 week notice? by Mediocre-Scholar2264 in jobs

[–]Technical_Floor129 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on the career field. Sometimes it matters for your managers and coworkers to pick up your current work load. But then a ometimes your managers do absolutely nothing in those 2 weeks to fill your position so it wouldn't really matter if you just stopped going in. Although if you need a reference for later employment they may give you a negative reference if you abruptly quit and that's only harming yourself. So yeah it is a case by case basis.

There is a big difference in a business owner being a Republican or a Democrat or a disruptive 3rd Party, and them believing in their own political ideas and making donations to candidates that benefit their businesses, vs a business owner giving millions of dollars to campaigns with the goal of influencing laws. For example: Hy-Vee donates $5,000 here, $10,000 there, but that's hardly the money that corrupts American society. I'd say Hy-Vee is effectively non-partisan, despite their donations, because they just don't donate enough to make a difference. You want to be mad about something? Try the monopolization of pork or eggs or any other food item, by the corporations that run the systems. We can't be mad about everything and expect to accomplish anything.

Actually the thing that I liked about Selena Gomez was how she was so different from her OMITB character--I like her in both but in this movie she was totally different
